Position Summary:

Support simulator manufacturers and training suppliers, in accordance with a license agreement, during the design, build, testing, and certification of full flight simulators by supplying relevant aircraft data.

Position Responsibilities (may include but not limited to):

· Responsible for providing required data and tracking progress of simulator development initiative with training suppliers to ensure adequate level of support is being provided

· Regular contact and communication with both internal departments and external customers to support simulator development (eq. Simulator Manufacturers, Training Providers, Engineering Flight Test, Project Engineering, Experimental, CSP&P, etc.)

· Must be able to handle and distribute sensitive/proprietary data appropriately

· Able to function as a primary point of contact for questions/answers dealing with technical data. Comfortable discussing technical subjects with SME’s, customers, etc.

· Ability to locate and interpret 3D Engineering models, 2D Engineering drawings, Engineering parts lists, Engineering documents, Technical Publications, etc. and cull out relevant data for simulators/training programs

· Develop and maintain working relationship with SME contacts across the company for support across a variety of models, disciplines, and functional areas

Qualifications

Education:

· Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree (Engineering preferred)

Required Skills:

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access DB)

· Ability to stay focused on lengthy projects and continue working with limited Supervision

· Ability to interpret engineering drawings preferred

· Working knowledge of CATVIA V5 & V6 preferred

· Pilot’s license preferred (advanced ratings preferred)
