The Administrative Assistant will support the Westfield Noise team by performing administrative services. This role assists with administrative tasks such as tracking and compiling information related to the Westfield Noise Mitigation Program. He/She will have the responsibility of keeping the local office open and able to respond to resident inquires and is responsible for reading and answering correspondences. He/She will ensures the office equipment and supplies are maintained. Will also coordinate the activities of the Noise Mitigation Program at the Westfield Barnes Regional Airport. Additional responsibilities include answer phone calls, communicating with residents and documenting summaries of activities and communications.
Education/Experience: Selected applicant must have a High School Diploma and at least six (6) years of experience. Administrative skills are required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Candidate must be able to promptly respond to requests, have good communication skills and the ability to gather information and document as needed to report to the manager. Knowledge of the workings of an airport manager’s office is desired.
