The candidate for this corporate residency position should possess outstanding leadership, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. They will have the opportunity to interface and present to executives in the UTAS Aftermarket organization, whether the President of Customer Service, Director of Military Aftermarket or Director of Worldwide Repair. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape decisions impacting business strategy and operational performance. With ample opportunity to assess and drive strategy, lead projects critical to the business and manage day to day managerial responsibilities, the role requires strong analytical skills. Projects will be chosen for the candidate based on his/her specific skill set and interests.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Sales process design and continuous improvement
- Forecasting / modeling of UTAS aftermarket business
- Analyzing customer potential, history and behavior to develop growth opportunities.
- Develop marketing materials, sales and orders plans with various business units.
- Customer strategy, pricing analytics & competitive landscape analysis
- Key customer sales proposal development and coordination through the gated sales process
- CRM tool coordination, usage, audits, customer data updates and reporting.
- Development of various tools to support key sales effectiveness initiatives
- Standard work development/implementation to support newly created processes
- Project manage initiatives such as, onboarding program, sale conferences and analytics.
- Communicate financial performance UTAS-wide in regular updates to executive management.

The candidate should possess a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. It is expected that the candidate will be comfortable working with large amounts of data and drawing conclusions based on his or her analysis of the data. It will be necessary for the candidate to interface with different cross-functional disciplines such as operations, ACE (process improvement), contract administration, engineering, finance, sales and marketing and senior management both on the Military and Commercial Aftermarket businesses.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain a solid understanding of the Aerospace Aftermarket business, integrate into a high functioning, fast-paced work environment, contribute in a significant fashion and gain exposure to senior management.
Due to Department of Defense work, candidate must be a US citizen/permanent resident.
candidate must be pursuing an MBA degree in any of the following majors: Business, Supply Chain Management, or related area.
Candidates pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or with strong analytical skills will also be considered, particularly if available to continue during year on a part-time basis.
Candidates must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
