The candidate for this Co-Op position is expected to develop an understanding of the UTAS business and support internal and external customers as required. You are organized, collaborative, and willing to take ownership of projects that require a quick learner. This individual should possess outstanding leadership, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Additionally, this opportunity will provide exposure to many different disciplines within the UTAS environment such as import/export control and compliance, contracts, legal, proposals, and business ethics. This individual will be given the opportunity to interface with executives in the UTAS Military Aftermarket organization and will have the opportunity to shape decisions impacting business processes.

Specific responsibilities of this role may include, but not be limited to, the following

* Support customer phone calls and host weekly status meetings.
* Prepare on time delivery metrics. Use analytical and problem-solving skills to improve delivery performance.
* Work with strategic business units, program leadership, and various functional teams to identify measureable goals, initiatives, and actions required for success.
* Work to execute on-time customer deliveries for a number of logistics support activities for business units.

The candidate should possess a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. It is expected that the candidate will be comfortable working with large amounts of data and drawing conclusions based on his or her analysis of the data. It will be necessary for the candidate to interface with different cross-functional disciplines such as operations, ACE (process improvement), contract administration, engineering, sales and marketing and senior management in the Military Aftermarket businesses.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain a solid understanding of the Aerospace Aftermarket business, integrate into a high functioning, fast-paced work environment, contribute in a significant fashion and gain exposure to senior management.

Qualification:

*Experience / Qualifications

Preferred candidate would be pursuing an MBA degree in any of the following majors: Business, Supply Management, or related area.
Candidates pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or related field with strong analytical skills will also be considered, particularly if available to continue during year on a part-time basis.
Due to Department of Defense work, candidate must be a US person.

Education:

*Education / Certifications

Ideal candidate must be pursuing an MBA or Bachelors degree in any of the following majors: Business, Supply Management, or related area.
Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA required.
