Delex Systems, wholly-owned subsidiary of ZENETEX, specializing in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We have an opportunity for an Air-to-Air Weapon Systems / Electronic Warfare - Senior Engineer / Subject Matter Expert / Analyst to support our team located at China Lake and Pt. Mugu, California. Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Manage and oversee electronic warfare technical, administrative, and daily operations of a U.S. Navy/Air Force aviation weapons acquisitions program directly related to DoD Aircraft Weapons Systems, Weapon System Survivability, Electronic Warfare (EW), System and Weapon Integration or Test and Evaluation. * Support specification, design, integration, and testing of the following of radar systems and theory directly related to radar transmitters and subsystems, digital radar receiver processing and associated controls, Microwave waveguide subsystems for radar and antennas, radar antenna systems and antenna interfaces for providing sensor engineering work for various Electronic Warfare (EW) platforms. * Knowledge of mission planning and how INTEL data relating to threats impacts ELINT files. Performs Electronic Warfare Intelligence Analysis (EWIA) to model and characterize threat Weapon, Platform, Radar, and Communication Systems for use in the EW Mission Planning Applications. * Evaluate design/development, production and deployment approaches, to identify program risks. * Able to develop risk mitigations related to weapon system programmatic, test & integration, cost, performance, support, schedule ramifications. * Evaluation and monitoring of all modifications to Electronic Warfare/Integrated Air Defense System (EW/IADS) equipment or infrastructure, the generation of change requests to improve operability/reliability/maintainability, and ensuring that applicable CM standards are adhered to. MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE Education and Experience Requirements Education and Experience Requirements * Desired experience in EW and ELINT and using EW Intel Data sources such as EWIR, KILTING, Gail systems, and ELINT. TOP SECRET clearance with background investigation within the past five years. * Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field such as engineering, mathematics or physics or equivalent experience * Minimum of 4 years of technical/management/development/ integration experience with aircraft, weapons, and/or operations, with 2 of those years occurring within the last 3 years; appropriate educational background may be substituted for this experience Security Clearance This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance based on a current SSBI.
