RECORDS MANAGER - Orlando (MCO)
Reports to: Director of Quality Control
Supervises: Technical Records Clerks
SUMMARY
* This position has designated / delegated safety risk acceptance authority and requires the applicable level of initial and recurring SMS training.
Maintains maintenance of required records of Silver Airways fleet in a prescribed manner consistent with applicable FARs and the Company’s manuals. In addition, the records manager is responsible for notifying the DOM and DQC of situations whereby time control items are in jeopardy of being exceeded. Any discrepancies involving the completeness of accuracy of any aircraft records must be brought to the attention of the Director of Quality Control.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage Records Clerks and ensure that Records Clerks are sufficiently trained.
3. Maintain the Records Department in a clean and orderly manner.
4. Perform other duties as assigned by the DQC.
5. The Aircraft Records Manager is responsible for the extraction of data for review and analysis by the CASS Manager.
6. The Technical Records Manager is responsible for identifying and reporting possible
safety risks in maintenance operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
*One year experience in Aircraft Technical Recording.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Is detail oriented.
*Trained on the pertinent portions of the MM-01.
