Position: Aircraft Sales Executive

Location: Preferred Southern CA, or remote

Clay Lacy Aviation is looking for an experienced Aircraft Sales Executive to join our team. The candidate must have a minimum of five years turbine aircraft sales experience, and must have a steady history of sales activity and success. The applicant should have their own contacts and book of business to cultivate and grow. Position Summary
The Aircraft Sales Executive will use their connections to develop new clients to the company and represent them with the purchase and/or sale of business jet aircraft. The Aircraft Sales Executive will actively work within the business jet market to analyze sales trends, develop flight profiles and operating budgets, communicate effectively with clients and coworkers, and function as a member of the Aircraft Sales team to continually enhance our services and gain our business.

Responsibilities

* Work independently to cultivate new clients interested in the purchase or sale of business jet aircraft

* Maintain a strong understanding of CLA’s customer needs, pricing, and delivery schedules, and ensure adherence to all quality standards, contractual specifications and regulatory compliance, as applicable

* Promote and re-enforce positive working relationships with clients and industry peers to achieve best exposure in the market

* Share professional experience and knowledge in regards to suppliers, products, competition and/or markets, to benefit company team strategies and goals

* Direct the preparation of regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports for senior sales management, as needed to maintain appropriate communications

* Practice, promote and participate in continuous improvement and/or process improvement efforts

* Attend and participate in senior external/ internal customer and/or company sales meetings or marketing events and communicate information upward and downward, as required

* Understand and drive the CLA philosophy, value and vision in all behavior, practices and decisions

* Travel is required to meet the essential duties of the job

Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in related field.

Experience
Minimum of five years of turbine aircraft inside or outside sales experience in the business aviation environment.

Skills and Abilities

* Strong aviation experience and knowledge is essential

* Very good to excellent working knowledge of corporate turbo prop. and jet aircraft (performance, prices, market)

* Pilot license preferred

* History of high integrity business dealings

* History of aircraft deals that applicant was solely responsible for

* Proven ability to make educated and informed decisions, with positive results

* Demonstrated ability to be results-driven and profitability-minded, most specifically in sales negotiations

* Demonstrated ability to maintain strong business relationships to produce sales

* Maintain excellent organizational and time-management skills, with strong follow-through and perseverance to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

* Maintain excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently and ethically with both internal and external customers

* Maintain strong competency working with IT systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and intermediate to advanced Word, Power Point and Excel (i.e., spreadsheets, formulas, importing and exporting of files, as applicable) as required
