Job Description:

Temporary PT Position: 
JOB DESCRIPTION (POSITION SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): Aircraft Servicer: Summary Responsible for aircraft ground handling [follow-me, marshaling, and towing], servicing (fuels, oils, liquid/gaseous oxygen, and compressed air/nitrogen), minor maintenance, aircraft flight orientated inspections, part procurement, aircraft deicing and logistical support. 
Qualifications: Must have four (4) years flight line experience on primarily fighter aircraft or heavies. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to the following. Job requirements must cover all tasks currently in the Statement of Work. 

Direct incoming and outgoing aircraft near terminal area to assist pilot’s maneuvering of the aircraft on ground using hand / light signals or drives light truck with guiding sign; Secures aircraft in parking position with chocks and tie downs if necessary Operates service vehicle(s);Replenish fuel, oil, water, waste system chemicals, oxygen, hydraulic fluid, and remove waste; Checks for fuel contamination by draining sumps and fuels drains; Operate ground support equipment [GSE] / aerospace ground equipment [AGE] such as aircraft tow vehicles, external power sources, engine start carts, and LOX/GOX carts; Examine tires for condition and specified air pressure; Remove and replace defective tires; Position and remove boarding platforms to unload or load aircraft passengers; May perform aircraft inspections required for flight [pre/post flight, thru flight, EOR, OAP, etc]; May install / retrieve drag chutes and send them to parachute shop for repacking. 

Responsible to ensure established maintenance standards are accomplished in accordance with applicable technical Air Force Directives; Responsible for proper documentation of aircraft forms as required; May sign off Red "X" conditions pertaining to aircraft servicing discrepancies/conditions; May perform Crash Recovery duties; May respond to all in-flight and ground emergencies; May install and remove travel pods.
