JOB DESCRIPTION (POSITION SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): The Aircraft Corrosion Control Team (Aircraft Servicer) responsibilities include coordinating, scheduling, and managing a team Aircraft Servicers to prepare and perform aircraft wash services on U.S. Air Force aircraft. Wash services includes all aircraft wash preparations, towing assistance, post-wash lubrications of landing gear and flight controls. Experience with DoD and Air Force safety and security procedures is required; experience with aircraft wash procedures and methods on C-135 (or other similar heavy military aircraft) is highly desired. Candidate personnel must be familiar with all safety procedures as use of wash chemicals, solvents, and lubricants is required. Candidates will be required to utilize boom-lift equipment and work at heights greater than 6 feet and at times up to 70 feet. Candidates must be reliable, punctual and able to obtain any applicable security clearance(s). Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

OTHER JOB INFORMATION: Working Conditions: Outside and inside a hangar. The majority of the work is performed in hangars; however, some exposure to extreme cold weather, dirt, dust, sprays, fumes, and electrical hazards is possible. Work Schedule: Varies Lifting Required: Yes, up to 50 lbs. Other Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, lift, crouch, and reach while handling materials and chemicals. The employee is occasionally required to carry items, push, pull, climb, stoop and kneel. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
