KBRwyle is seeking an individual to perform analog mixed signal intellectual property validation to ensure that the IP quality is free of potential modification and only performs the intended operation. Evaluation of IP states via simulation and IC fabrication/characterization is required. The selected candidate will perform design verification and research of advanced digital circuit blocks in next generation silicon technologies. Other duties may include supporting analog and RF design, developing standard cell libraries, and testing fabricated chipsets. The selected candidate will represent Wyle and DoD customers in outside discussions and technical forums. This position will require some travel.
Education: An MS Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science with five (5) years of experience is required.
Experience/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The selected candidate must be familiar with digital design practices and the associated EDA design tools. A strong understanding of formal verification methods is necessary to perform research activities. Additional experience in digital circuit design is desired. Familiarity with advanced Cadence Design Systems IC design flow, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics tools is desired. Familiarity with at least one (1) commercial scripting programming language such as PERL or Python is desired.
