In support of the Senior Director Policies Procedures and Training, responsible for development, implementation and integration of the Safety Management System (SMS) within ACS.
Responsible for daily management of the SMS electronic reporting process using WBAT to include incident report processing, attribute assignment, and interfacing with Safety and Security to conduct investigations as required.
Participate as a member of the SMS working group and SMS Review Board. Assist in the development and implementation of corrective action plans.
Perform trend analysis and report preparation mandated by Safety Management Systems, GSIP, and other safety related programs.
Work closely with Ops Analytics and other ACS personnel to track, measure, analyze, and audit the development, performance, and improvement of policies and procedures for all ACS operations.
Analyze and audit process compliance with operating standards and the Code of Federal Regulations as well as ACS manuals.
Develop methods to monetize and valuate ACS processes to perform cost benefit analysis and develop business cases and scenario models to drive better business decisions.
Perform variance analyses against departmental budget.
Work with ACS directors, functioning as the SME in areas of responsibility while ensuring financial deadlines are met through implementation of accountability loops.
Create reports and presentations for senior leadership as required.
Explore opportunities to simplify the finance and accounting requirements for ACS.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
5 years of airline ramp experience
1 year of airline safety departmental experience
Competency in SMS protocols and procedures
Experience in interpreting and applying federal regulations
Demonstrated ability in metric reporting and analytics
Strong proficiency in Excel and other data analysis toolsSuperior communication skills with the ability to negotiate and communicate effectively across job levels and departments
Bachelor’s degree in a Quantitative or Analytical discipline
Current (within 2 years) Airline Management Experience
