Position Description

Performs complex/extensive business process analysis including workflow, business information requirements and computer modeling used to define business problems and develop strategies for solutions. Leads user groups through workflow analysis and the development and implementation of data science and technology-based procedural/operational solutions.

Specific Accountabilities

*Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of business unit/functional group business processes, using information/data generated by real time operations and processes.
*Develops solutions using analytics and computer methods to make these processes cost-effective and efficient.
*Responsible for directing the order of work process to optimize program productivity.
*Organizes, facilitates and leads meetings. May lead interviews and walk-throughs with business unit/functional users groups to gather information for the identification and definition of their business processes and for the identification of scope and impact of their business process issues.
*Identifies and drives continuous improvement opportunities in the business unit/functional group through reviews and assessments of current business processes and systems.
*Provides business unit/functional group support and consultation regarding business process redesign.
*Develops conceptual design of proposed technical solutions and acts as the liaison between the business unit/functional group and the Business Systems Analysts in transforming system design concepts to a detailed systems design.
*Conducts acceptance testing of new business systems and system enhancements to ensure programming has been done in accordance with detailed specifications.
*Develops business process conversion and implementation plans for local and remote sites.
*Develops informational literature and user manuals and assists in the development of training material for technology-based or other business solutions.
*Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
*Carries out special projects as assigned.
Position Requirements

*Thorough knowledge of business process redesign or reengineering.
*Good planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, leadership, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
*Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or engineering; recognized professional accounting designation; or equivalent.
*Experience in business process analysis.
*Must be authorized to work in the US.

Preferred Experience

*5+ years experience Project Management of business process improvement.
*PMP certification.
*Experience with directing operational flow on multiple simultaneous projects.
*Experience using analytical tools with near real time data to present KPI’s and critical path items.
*Experience using data science methods to optimized flow of materials and parts in a repair and overhaul focusing on producing real-time scheduling.
*Must be authorized to work in the US.
