  • Using schedule planning software and other related schedules data and information systems, prepare and coordinate current schedules with internal revenue, marketing and operating departments
  • Coordinate with commercial and operations teams to schedule extra sections and charters as appropriate
  • Ensure flight schedules conform with revenue/marketing requirements including maximizing on-line passenger connections, codeshare partner connections, and interline connections
  • Ensure flight schedules conform with operating parameters including recommended block times, aircraft turn/transit requirements, airport gating, curfew and slot requirements, and crew duty/rest requirements
  • Analyze codeshare partners’ future and current schedules and recommend best connections to/from Hawaiian Airlines flights to maximize revenue potential while maintaining prime connecting opportunities for Hawaiian Airlines.
  • Analyze minimum connecting times at all on-line airports and recommend adjustments to improve connection opportunities for both on-line connections as well as with codeshare partners. Prepare draft and final schedules in SSIM format and provide to internal operating departments as required. 
  • Prepare final monthly flight schedules and reports for presentation and review with internal departments
  • Transition final flight schedules to the Publication team for publication and distribution  
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in quantitative or relative discipline. A minimum of two years of work experience in airline scheduling, planning, analysis, operations, passenger or revenue related areas may be substituted for degree requirement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools (e.g., Excel, Power Point, Word), with advanced skills in Excel
  • Strong analytical skills including aptitude for problem solving and constructing logical analytical arguments
  • Flexibility in adapting to new ideas and approaches in work methods 
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple projects in a fast changing environment, balancing multiple “what-if” scenarios, and adhering to deadline
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy in flight schedules 
  • Ability to work in a team environment
