Assist in Long and Short Term Fleet Planning process by developing network scenarios and assessing aircraft compatibility in various scenarios; assess economics of potential aircraft reconfiguration
Maintain cost models used in route forecasting
Comparison of Express partner agreements' relative economic efficiency
Prepare network strategy presentations and develop relevant materials for the senior management team, the board, and affiliated government bodies
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting or related field or equivalent experience/training
Substantial experience in Finance or Management Consulting position, including experience with financial modeling / analysis and presentation development, highly desired
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access)
Capable of developing high quality, professional PowerPoint presentations
Superior analytical and communication skills with the ability to negotiate and communicate effectively across job levels and departments
Excellent teamwork skills, with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations and across departments / functional areas
Advanced aptitude in problem-solving, including the ability to logically structure an appropriate analytical framework
Adaptability and flexibility in the use of analytical approaches pertaining to problem solving
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in operations research, computer science, statistics or similar quantitative discipline
Understanding of fundamental airline concepts such as spill, recapture, O&D, connect vs. local, fundamental Revenue Management principles, demand elasticity, etc., are highly desirable
