Description
  • Clean, manipulate, and analyze data to identify drivers of demand, revenue, and customer behavior
  • Forecast, backcast, and optimize performance models and system parameters to improve company profitability and effective in decision-making for end-users
  • Investigate and explain root causes and sources of variance to market/product owners
  • Troubleshooting across data sources, each with millions of records
  • Conduct independent investigations and lead support teams in solving business and data quality challenges
  • Work with business units and vendors to manage systems
  • Create and deliver presentations and training leveraging thorough system/process understanding and excellent data visualization techniques to effectively communicate with audiences from all levels of the company
  • Develop reporting for RM and Scheduling teams; Assist with improving and automating data, and improve reporting,
  • Ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Econometrics, Physics or related Quantitative disciplines highly preferred (or equivalent level of experience)
  • Demonstrated ability to apply modeling, forecasting, and visualization skills to real‐world problems (preferably logistics and transportation related problems) with measured and improved outcomes
  • Expert‐level fluency in applying advance multivariate statistical analysis (logistic & linear regression, decision tree, cluster analysis, and ANOVA) to categorize, classify, and detect data relationship in large datasets
  • Experience with applying complex business logics to extract and cleanse large datasets from different data sources
  • Solid programming skills with knowledge of SQL, R, SAS, Python or other data‐extraction and analysis tools and programming languages
  • Ability to understand complex business requirements and define KPIs to measure benefits and communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner

  • Strong grasp of revenue management theory and concepts
  • Experience leading diverse teams and interacting with vendors
  • Demonstrated familiarity with the airline or transportation industries
