Nessus vulnerability scanning experience preferred.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Associate's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or technology related field preferred. 1 year of experience with vulnerability management.
Implements, maintains and supports the client's Enterprise applications.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions: 1. Monitor vulnerabilities on services inside and outside the firewall. Schedule patching when vulnerabilities are present. 2. Track open vulnerabilities on all Business Technology Enterprise Solutions (BTES) servers 3. Schedule patching for all BTES server groups and maintain the patching schedule. 4. Research and work with infrastructure and other IT departments to resolve open vulnerabilities and coordinate scheduled patching sessions. 5. Update metrics for business reports and create submit exceptions where vulnerabilities cannot be resolved. 6. Track exceptions due to expire and determine if extensions are needed. 7. Review database for correct ownership, status and details of the BTES servers. 8. Report all actions being taken to resolve vulnerabilities. Perform other duties as assigned.
