Job Objective: Oversees the daily operational maintenance and fleet readiness of all Corporate Air Aircraft.
Participate with and/or assist Director of Maintenance in coordinating proper scheduling of aircraft consistent with good planning for timely performance and maintainability of aircraft within fleet.
Maintain currency in knowledge of both FAA regulations and company maintenance & administrative procedures. Develop and administer relevant training curriculums for aircraft systems, safety, human factors, HAZMAT recognition/handling, regulatory compliance, ground handling, troubleshooting and run/taxi qualification. Manage special projects and duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance. Maintain department policies and procedures consistent with that of the company.
Maintain proper liaison between the Maintenance Department and Base stations to ensure accurate communications related to the airworthiness and safety of the aircraft.
Monitor the conditions of shops, buildings, hangars,
ramps and adjacent areas to ensure they are clean and in good condition. Maintain proper liaison with customers as necessary. Temporarily assume duties of the Director of Maintenance when necessary.
Assist Director of Maintenance to insure all work accomplished by mechanics under
his/her supervision has been completed in an efficient and workman-like manner including all required paperwork properly completed.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience in Aviation Maintenance Training. Current A&P Certificate with in-depth turbine aircraft systems and regulatory compliance knowledge. Extensive experience developing and teaching complex technical curriculums, both classroom and hands-on environments. Detail Oriented with strong organizational skills to manage priorities and deadlines. Knowledge of Web based training required. Trav el required based on Training and overall business needs.
