POSITION SUMMARY: Provide a brief statement describing the overall purpose of this position. Describe the role in the organization, scope of impact, and how this position supports the business/organization goals and strategies.
Responsible for the oversight of parts and logistics program activities (CONUS) (e.g. spares, deliverables, mission equipment, etc.) for the Iraq T-6 Recon Program. Works directly with both CONUS product support personnel as well as the OCONUS Parts/Logistics manager to ensure on time delivery of parts and mission equipment to the worksite in Iraq. Monitors repair and return activity on the program as well as O&A (over and above) items. Advises the Iraq T-6 Recon program manager on parts and logistics status and raises any concerns/issues/impacts to the program. Responsible for ensuring the in country parts manager and maintainers are supplied with the proper inventory to meet contractual requirements for aircraft operations. Assist PMO with proposal preparation as needed.
