OneSky Flight is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Administrative Team at our state-of-the-art facility in Cleveland, Ohio.  Overall, this position will develop, interpret, and implement financial and operational concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control. This position will report directly to the Chief Administrative Officer.

  • Analyze detailed financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.
  • Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance.
  • Identify trends and recommend improvements accordingly.
  • Effectively explain financial results to Internal Departments and Leadership.
  • Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Direct preparation of studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial performance, and metrics.
  • Develop financial assumptions and construct complex financial models for forecasting or business case analyses. 
  • Establish databases of pertinent historical information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts.
  • Assist in the development of the annual forecasting and budgeting process.
  • Assist Sales, Operations, and Maintenance departments in Ad-Hoc analysis.
  • Compile and verify the accuracy and validity of accounting data; resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; 1-3 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Oracle experience is preferred but not required.
  • Advanced math skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Prior experience in a financial analysis/reporting role is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, & Outlook).
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail and advanced critical thinking skills.
  • Able to productively work in a fast-paced environment independently, or within a team.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and problem resolution skills are required.
  • Successful candidate should be highly motivated, self-directed, proactive, and have the ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to understand a complex business model.
