This position is located at FlightSafety Visual Display Systems in St. Louis, Missouri. We are a company specializing in the design, development, and build of high fidelity visual systems used in commercial and military aviation programs. Our VITAL visual systems are integrated into complex fixed base and full six degree of freedom motion based simulator training systems and provides the images pilots see out of their windows during simulated flight. Visual Systems has been an industry leading developer and manufacturer of real-time 3D graphics systems for more than 40 years!
Directs and coordinates formulation, monitoring and presentation of budgets for controlling funds to implement program objectives of the organization.
Prepares budget based on organization's performance, estimated revenue, expense reports, and past budget numbers.
Reviews operating budgets periodically to analyze trends affecting budget needs.
Consults with accounting manager to ensure adjustments are made in accordance with program changes in order to facilitate long-term planning.
Provides contract estimating & pricing/contract administration for both military and commercial contracts.
Reviews expenditures of departments to ensure compliance with budget.
Collects and maintains records of actual operating expenses to compare with estimated budget.
Prepares comparative analyses of operating programs by analyzing costs in relation to services performed during previous fiscal years and submits reports to the manager o accounting with recommendations for budget revisions.
Conduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.
Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, new business planning, and operating forecasts.
Travel and overtime may be required.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and REQUIREMETS
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business; or equivalent combination of education an experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
