YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE

We are looking for an intelligent and quality-focused Business Analyst who is motivated to participate in Agile IT project teams defining project scope, requirements and ensuring exceptional delivery of high quality deliverables that amaze and delight our project sponsors and customers. The Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding the business, corporate stakeholder needs, and IT system capabilities. This position is responsible for:
-Gathering business requirements, and documenting user-stories
-Lead backlog grooming and sprint planning
-Manage the sprint demos, ensure crisp quality demos for the product owner and leadership
-Managing communications with stakeholders
-Partner with other technology development teams
-removing barriers to keep the team productive to hit the sprint goals, escalating to management to assist with solving barriers
-Work closely with the product owners, always tell the truth and collaborate to ensure alignment with the product owner

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? / WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?
-3+ years of development experience on software projects using agile methodology
-Strong problem-solving and time-management skills, superior customer service attitude
-Ability to multi-task and function efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
-Advanced written, verbal and interpersonal skills
-Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; high level of business management and facilitation skill; capability to resolve complex problems with minimum confusion, frustration, and inconveniences for all parties concerned
-Customer focused; Action-Oriented; Building Team Spirit; Self Development; Creativity & Innovation; Problem Solving; Ethics & Values
-Knowledge of agile approaches such as Scrum, XP, Kanban
-Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, related field or equivalent relevant work experience

-Self-starter, highly organized; works well with all functional levels in the organization
-Airline, transportation, or hospitality industry experience desirable
-Highly reliable and accountable, with strong time-management skills
