Analyze, develop and facilitate the documentation of business and technical requirements
Work closely with Systems Analyst in IT for awareness and planning
Work with departments and outsourced vendor resources to ensure that business and technical requirements are accurately translated into requirement specifications and functional designs
Flag respective Systems Analyst on any potential cross-application impacts for proactive plans around integration
Ensure traceability of requirements through design & build, testing, and deployment
Work with business units to develop test traceability matrix back to their project requirements; ensure clarity with the business, project team and QA
Work with QA and impacted departments to design test suites that ensure that requirements are correctly implemented and that applicable user acceptance testing is performed
Lead functional departments through the documentation and gap analysis of “as is” and “to be” business processes
Facilitate the development of end user training materials and the adoption of new business processes
Area of focus would be centered around Finance & Accounting
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, relevant certifications, and professional training programs
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Four years working primarily as a business analyst or in a related role
Working knowledge of project management principles and methodology
Working knowledge of managing complex integrated applications
Proficient in the areas of process mapping, and the development of data flow diagrams
Work with QA and impacted departments to design test cases to ensure requirements are correctly implemented and that applicable user acceptance testing is performed
Advanced level of competency with office productivity tools such as MS Office and process mapping tools such as Visio
Experience working in the airline industry with strong knowledge of airline technologies and processes
Experience working with Finance or Accounting
