Primary Job Duties:

The HR Technology Team supports the technology systems used by over 12,000 employees nationwide. We strive to align with all 7 of SkyWest's Guiding Principles, specifically "Superior Profitability and Efficient Use of All Resources."  The Business Applications Coordinator works extensively as an inter-departmental consultant with the focus on administration of optimization of Learning Management System.


Anticipated Duration: 6 months

Hours: 20-40 hours per week

Pay: $14.25

Location: Corporate Headquarters St. George, Utah



Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Become knowledgeable about companywide technology applications and processes with a focus on the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Provide Tier I & II LMS related support including troubleshooting system problems.
  • Identify and implement solutions for LMS inefficiencies and underutilization.
  • Identify methods to improve LMS productivity and growth.
  • Implement LMS standards and auditing practices.
  • Participate in quality assurance and functional testing for LMS upgrades, enhancements, and patches.
  • Drive continuous process improvement by creating content policies and standards.
  • Partner with LMS vendor to log and manage problem tickets, resolve system related issues configurations, propose system enhancements.
  • Other duties as assigned 

Minimum Requirements:

A successful candidate must demonstrate a strong foundation and proven capacity in the following areas: 


Technology:  Aptitude for learning/understanding/embracing new technology.  Ability to creatively leverage technological applications.  


Project Management:  Ability to manage multiple projects in multiple phases. 


Communication:  Ability to simplify and communicate technical content both written and verbal- maintaining professionalism.


Problem Solving:  Critical thinking, analytical, and creative.


Motivation: Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Ability and desire to excel in a fast paced environment.

Physical and Other Requirements:

  • Execute duties in office environment with long periods of time sitting, typing and communicating via phone, and electronic methods
