CONTINGENT UPON AWARD OF CONTRACT

The Business Manager is responsible for all Tracking, Processing and Reporting of all business reports, EAC’s, Performance Report, Financial Reporting and Program Management Reviews. This position reports to the Program Director and has secondary reporting to VP of Finance. All Program funding, sales, Bookings, EBIT and financial performance are tracked by the Business Manager. The proper creation and tracking of all program performance reports, utilized in all formal performance reviews is paramount. The overview, management, tracking and negotiating Aircraft Over and Aboves with the US Government representatives and subcontractor Personnel.

Other aspects of this position are, Program planning and projections. Problem identification and performance tracking. Tracking Program CLIN structure and Government funding allocations to the Program. Assuring proper billing and tracking of Over and Aboves, and other program billing functions.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the Program financial team. Track all Sales, Bookings, P&L, Over and Aboves and all financial reporting. Work with the Program Director on financial performance and planning. Assure proper billing to the US Government. Assist in negotiations on Aircraft C-Check inspection findings that are negotiated on an Over and Above basis. Financial reporting for all Program Reviews.

• Collaborate with HR to conduct job evaluations and provide input and guidance on new hire offers, promotions, proposals and other compensation matters, as required. Evaluate positions using standard job evaluation techniques. Conduct internal and external equity analyses. Present written recommendations based on analysis and budgetary considerations.

• Administer company-wide compensation projects, such as the annual performance appraisal and salary review process.

• Serve as an expert resource to others in the Program, providing advice and consultation to management regarding financial decisions and Business plans.

• Design and prepare reports to support various financial and business processes.

• Assist with other special projects and initiatives projects as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree plus six (6) years of related experience in finance and business management with a large organization and in a government contract setting, aviation experience preferred. Associate Degree plus ten (10) years of related experience in finance and business management with a large organization and in a government contract setting, aviation experience preferred. High School Diploma or Equivalent please fourteen (14) years of related experience in finance and business management with a large organization and in a government contract setting, aviation experience preferred.

• Exceptional quantitative, analytical, data and project management skills.

• Strong attention to detail and high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel including data structure, layout and reporting.

• Professional verbal and written communication skills for interaction with executive decision makers, composing job descriptions, proposals, and presentations.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.

• Must be able to work weekends, other shifts and overtime as required.

The essential physical requirements of the position will be reviewed with the applicant during the interview. Some travel will be required.
