Business Operations Manager / Revenue Technology and Data Analytics

Responsible for delivering the right solutions on time, with the right costs, while ensuring that they adhere to technical and operating standards. Supports, influences and communicates the mission, goals, and objectives, and practices of the department, technology group, and Delta. Demonstrates leadership across multiple projects, peer groups, and departments in thought, initiative, responsibility, teamwork, actions, and culture. Effectively manages relationship with the customer (internal or external). Demonstrates the ability to lead, motivate and influence team members. Responsible for the financial control and accountability on capital and operating expenses for targeted areas of responsibility.

Your Responsibilities In This Role

Analyze trends in actual and forecasted chargeability in order to monitor and influence key performance metrics regarding resource utilization.
Analyze future demand for resources based on staffing needs of existing projects, probable pipeline opportunities, and future needs to support future opportunities.
Work with Project Delivery GM and Portfolio Delivery Directors to assess talent needs; communicates demand needs with sourcing group
Analyze future demand for resource skills and provides data
Balance the demand for resources with the supply taking into consideration skills, level of experience, geographic location, developmental objectives of the resources, and financial impact.
Research and recommend action to right size the resource pool as needed; Develop and recommend strategies to right size the resource pool based on analysis of future demand and the characteristics (quantity, skills, depth of experience, and cost profile) of the existing pool of delivery resources.
Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business demand activities
Responsible for analyzing overall utilization of portfolio
Work to resolve any issues regarding under or over allocations of current staff members
Manage and produces appropriate reporting and analysis associated with effectively managing all resources across departments
Participate in IT Sourcing meetings and acts as a liaison to PDO Center of Excellence and Portfolio Delivery
Actively minimize or maximize usage of FTEs and contractors as required to meet strategic needs of the business.
Align with PDO Center of Excellence and Portfolio Delivery to promote the enhancement of employees' skills and development of competencies needed to support current and future business.
Manage and resolve resource booking conflicts
Work in partnership with portfolio directors, delivery teams, HR, finance and vendors to acquire, assess, develop, retain and deploy internal/external resources with the right skills, at the right time, to the right project, and at the right cost, to effectively fulfill delivery management's engagement requirements.
Ensure that the projects' contribution to the customers' business goals are met, and that customer satisfaction with the project and conclusion is high.
Ensure that any new projects allocated are professionally defined with particular emphasis on risk assessment, work break-down structure, scheduling, and resources.
Coordinate activities with internal/external technology owners/service providers.
Ensure that the Delta standards and procedures are adopted and implemented
Consult with other technology groups to ensure project or product integrity.
Responsible for reviewing and approving enterprise changes and additions and supporting Enterprise Change Management.
Keep abreast of industry trends through benchmarking, participation in professional associations etc. in order to lead strategic business direction of Department.
Communicate the Departmental leadership vision/strategy and then manage people and technology to follow that direction.
Monitor metrics, problems, trends, etc., in order to determine solutions, required process changes, etc. that will make the function more efficient.
Establish and follow project accounting processes and procedures to effectively track, record and control project expenditures, and submit required project financial reports.
Create periodic reporting and ad-hoc materials related to the management of the business analysis practice
Report to the General Manager and engages day to day with Delivery Directors, Business and Portfolio GMs as needed
Centralize the work intake of all projects and integrate horizontally across the enterprise to track interdependencies and resource constraints (i.e. Channels, Digital Strategy, etc): 30%
Map and sequence existing and future work to maintain a consistent velocity

What Are We Looking For/What Experience Do You Need?"

Bachelor's Degree or higher required.
5 - 8 years of experience leading, managing, and delivering enterprise solutions for complex programs, or other
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver enterprise resource management programs
Executive presence, skillful communicator, effective decision maker with an ability to engage and collaborate at all levels of the organization from analyst to the C-Suite with representatives across the business and IT
