The Special Operations Vertical business within Boeing Global Services is seeking a Business Operations Specialist to support the Senior Director and the Leadership Team. In this capacity, the selected candidate will assist in the development and integration of programs plans, strategies and processes to meet team business goals. This position will be in St. Louis, MO.

To be successful in this position, the selected Candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have a positive and flexible attitude.

Some travel will be required.

Responsibilities will include:

• Partner with other functions in the development and distribution of Program Level communications
• Collect, organize and provide data to maintain status of programs, staffing, customer and supplier commitments / compliance
• Works with the Senior Director to define and execute the team operating rhythm
• Leads the design, logistics and facilitation of large meetings/events; develops and consolidates executive level briefings
• Ensures organizational alignment with Boeing processes and compliance requirements
• Forge relationships with customer counterparts as available
• Participates in meetings, steering meetings and associated events to help define and achieve organizational objectives
• Special Operations focal for communication and coordination between the BGS leadership and the organization for regular deliverables, briefings, and meetings as they are required
• Maintains team calendars; monitors and tracks project execution of tasks and communicates status
• Managing / Identifying risks and opportunities
• Develops mitigation plans and business cases
• Tracks and analyzes Contractor Performance Assessment Reports (CPAR)
• Provides leadership to the Executive Administrative Team
• Special Projects and ad hoc tasks will be assigned as needed

Additional duties will include:

Executive presence, demonstrating comfort speaking internally or externally on behalf of the Senior Director

Ability to forge relationships with customer counterparts

*

Exceptional organizational skills, innate attention to detail

*

Ability to effectively deal with complexity and ambiguity

Qualifications

This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

* This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship

* 3+ years of experience in Program Management or Program Management Support

* 3+ years of experience collecting, interpreting data, and managing high level projects for management.

* Experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).

* 3+ years of experience communicating with and presenting to management

* Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

* Experience with US DoD processes

* Experience with Technical/operational environments.

Typical Education/Experience:

Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
