Reports To: Cabin Crew Base Manager, USA

 

Location:  JFK, New York

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the smooth running of the JFK Cabin Crew Base office and operational functions including scheduling, pre-flight planning and other regulatory mandated tasks.
  • Completing all regulatory pre departure duties.
  • Provide accurate and timely personnel and administration for JFK Based Cabin Crew.
  • To enhance the performance standard of JFK based Cabin Crew through positive reinforcement and recognition.
  • Assist with the promotion and recruitment of JFK Based Cabin Crew.
  • To build strong working relationships with the JFK Base Cabin Crew Community.
  • To be the source of support and guidance for all Cabin Crew in the changing business and operational environment.
  • To promptly track and follow up all customer compliments and any complaints.
  • To keep abreast and be knowledgeable about all Cabin Crew related policies and procedures.
  • To provide ad hoc and immediate support to all Cabin Crew in the event of a crisis, disruption or traumatising incident.
  • To conduct and manage any investigations required related to discipline issues or grievances.
  • Managing all roster data.
  • Liaise with Airports and other department staff as necessary; attend/conduct CCG and other Cabin Crew meetings.
  • Shift work including nights and weekends is required.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in airline industry.
  • Knowledge of Cabin Crew operational environment and standards including safety and inflight service is preferred.
  • Delivery of outstanding customer service in a changing and challenging environment.
  • Familiarity with conducting competency/behavioral based interviews.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, MS Word.
  • Superior independent work habits.
  • All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.  No sponsorship for employment visa status is available for this position.
