CONTINGENT UPON AWARD OF CONTRACT
Responsible to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, Lead Inspector, and Senior Aircraft Inspector. Evaluates aircraft maintenance tasks and inspections to include items identified by the Performance work statement and standards set within the office. Enter inspection and evaluation reports into the appropriate QA database. Assists in the review of Unsatisfactory Reports, TCTOs, OTIs, modification proposals, DRs, AFTO IMTs 22 and local OIs. Provide training/instruction as applicable to address deficiencies identified during the evaluation/ inspection. Evaluate forms documentation and MIS inputs. Prepare timely, accurate and detailed inspection reports. Provide duties as a weight and balance technician as required by workload. Assists in Brief and debrief of aircrews for FCF/OCF and in flight emergences as required. Provide feedback to the Lead on individual findings. Provide technical assistance and expertise to management. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Successful and documented completion of formal schooling equivalent to 6 months experience or 6 months of documented experience and completion of ECI course relating to the job classification.
One year of satisfactory performance while working in Labor Grade 9 or above in the Mechanic, Aircraft line of progression at Vance Air Force Base.
Two years of documented aircraft mechanical experience in the equivalent of Labor Grade 9 or above other than Vance Air Force Base (DD Form 214 or employment record).
