Must be familiar with removing and installing QEC kits on aircraft engines and inspecting and repairing ground support equipment.
Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, Material Data Safety Data sheets (MSDS), operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals
Must be familiar with A working knowledge of USAF forms and documentation procedures.
Must demonstrate Analytical abilities sufficient to handle complex technical details.
Must have a valid state operator’s license and be able to pass the government licensing requirements.
Must have a Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
Performing assigned tasks without supervision.
Acting as advisor to COMBS workers to identify aircraft/engine part numbers and serviceability of parts and equipment.
Perform routine support equipment inspections and maintains and performs necessary corrective actions to include unscheduled maintenance.
Repair, reworking and replacing, components or parts of CFSE to ensure proper operation.
Performing engine QEC buildup actions, both assembly and tear down, determining serviceability of QEC
items, completing all required documentation and tagging requirements of QEC items.
Performing storage and shipment requirements on engines and support equipment to include documentation.
Recording all inspection/maintenance actions using log books, computer terminals or other means as required.
Operating assigned aerospace ground support equipment as required.
Selecting appropriate tools and equipment required to complete assignments.
Referring to workbooks and technical publications to determine specifications to be met.
Complying with all company, OSHA and customer safety regulations.
Perform other duties and functions as may be assigned/tasked by supervision and management.
Complies with safety, foreign object damage and tool control program requirements.
Follows all safety procedures and practices as established by the Company.
Must have three (3) years recent Maintenance experience or five years’ recent jet aircraft maintenance experience on equivalent type aircraft. Prefer T1 aircraft experience. Some travel will be required.

The diversity of working conditions may range from a standard office type environment where there is no physical discomfort to an environment where inclement weather may subject individual to severe changes of temperature, less than adequate lighting, dust, wind, rain and the like. Individuals may also be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail, thus requiring the use of adequate ear protection.
