Job Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION (POSITION SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): 
Flight instructor for part-time or full-time ground and flight duties with opportunity to advance to Assistant Chief Pilot and Chief Pilot. Duties include flight and ground instruction under Part 141 flight training school. Train motivated students in private pilot, instrument rating, and multi-engine courses. Other duties as assigned. 

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: 
Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent 
Experience: 2 - 3 Years 
Type of Experience: 100 dual hours instruction given. Recent military Undergraduate Flight Training experience as a military IP or a fully qualified flight instructor teaching in large Part 141 flight school preferred. 
License(s)/Certificate(s): Current FAA Certified Flight Instructor with Instrument (CFII) single engine land rating; Instrument, Multi engine instructor (MEI) preferred. 
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office 
Valid Driver's License: Yes 
Drug Test: Yes 
Background Check: Yes 

OTHER JOB INFORMATION: 
Working Conditions: Outdoors, hangar, office, ramp, aircraft and classroom 
Work Schedule: Part-Time or Full-time, typically Mon – Fri between 5:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Occasional Saturdays. 
Lifting Required: Yes, up to 50 lbs. 
Other Details: Must have FAA Class 3 Medical Certificate 

OTHER JOB INFORMATION: 
Working Conditions: Outdoor weather exposure - extreme heat/cold, wet/humid 
Work Schedule: Must be available for flexible shifts, Mon – Fri 
Lifting Required: Yes, up to 50 lbs. 
Other Details: Physical requirements include walking, lifting, pulling, carrying, prolonged standing, bending, stooping, balancing, handling, climbing up/down ladders on tank vehicles & fuel storage tanks, hearing, talking, color vision, depth perception and field of vision.
