Job Description:

Aviation and operational military experience required in the following aircraft: CH47. CH47 FE’s should have been previously designated as a CH47 Flight Engineer, have at least five years aircraft experience as a CH47 Flight Engineer, and able to maintain a Class 3 FAA flight physical. 

Flight Engineers will fly on CH47F Chinooks in support of the daily training syllabus at Fort Rucker, USAACE. FE duties shall be accomplished in all modes of flight and will consist of troubleshooting malfunctions, performing routine in flight maintenance, and ensuring that the proper maintenance records are updated before and after flights. FE's are an integral part of the crew and will conduct flight operations along side Active duty, DAC, and contract Instructor Pilot crews. 

Educational Requirements: Previously designated as an FE.
