The Clerk, Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Compliance reports to the Regional Manager, Ground Equipment Maintenance. The GSE Compliance Clerk will report and log attendance updates as needed. Responsible for coordinating vendor maintenance and payment. Ensures and updates b-weekly water check compliance for the entire region. Ensures training and compliance for all employees and equipment including badges, personnel files and various paperwork/logs.
Additionally, the Clerk performs a wide variety of office duties for one or more management/specialist personnel. The following responsibilities may apply: typing, filing, ensuring telephone coverage, greeting and directing visitors, handling mail, ordering office supplies, updating manuals, arranging travel and hotel accommodations. Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports from automated databases. Coordinate meeting arrangements. Review, screen and prioritize mail. Answer multi-line telephone and direct one/or transfer calls. Set up and maintain filing system as well as receive and direct visitors.
In this role, good organizational skills and attention to detail are needed to carry out assigned tasks. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to learn new software and apply knowledge.
