United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS) is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. The Customer Service organization provides complete aftermarket solutions for Military and Commercial products, which includes; spare parts and LRU's (Line Replaceable Units), upgrades, retrofits, repairs, Performance Based Logistic (PBL) Programs for US and Foreign Military and Commercial platforms.
The Customer Service organization is seeking an experienced MBA Intern to work within the Aftermarket business on a variety of business initiatives in support of our market pursuits. The MBA Intern will work within the central Customer Service Sales Operation team and will be responsible for supporting the execution of strategic opportunities, conducting market trends forecast, and analyzing our competitive advantages. This includes the identification of potential pricing process changes, conducting integration team activities, development and implementation of standard work inclusive of best practice identification and strategy design maximizing process efficiency in order to support functional success, alignment and compliance to UTAS requirements. Responsible within the Aftermarket for generation and coordination of presentations and other materials in support of UTAS and Customer requests as required. Support efforts to continue our standard operating system (ACE) at UTAS.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Support the development of strategic direction for Aftermarket Pricing
* Assist in developing and implementing global pricing standard work
* Provide forecasted business analysis and trends
* Conduct pricing analytics & competitive landscape analysis
* Development of various tools to support key sales effectiveness initiatives
Qualification: Highly motivated, self-directed and able to work effectively with limited oversight
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, solve problems, and improve processes
* Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of advanced Excel formulas and macros a plus
Education: Ideal candidates will be pursuing a Master’s Degree with a concentration in Finance, Program Management, Operations, or Business Administration.
