Job Description

Create and deploy eLearning modules (WBTs) in support of the operation. Contribute to the reusable assets and code libraries used in the development of WBTs. Assist other business units with WBT projects, including contributing code and troubleshooting.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Take lead or work as team member on the end-to-end creation of eLearning modules, simulations, games, animations, sound design, and videos.
  • Responsible for delivering projects on time, within scope of work, and with a high degree of technical excellence
  • Work independently and with team members to create code, UI elements, look and feel, and intuitive user experiences that comprise WBTs
  • Work independently and with team members to create animations, drawings, 3D models, and other custom graphics to support learning initiatives
  • Keep up-to-date with current trends in programming, user interface design, and graphic design
  • Consult with Instructional Design group and other internal customers regarding their design and development requirements, and to communicate project progress
  • Consult with external eLearning vendors to ensure their products are compatible with company eLearning and learner environments
  • Complete other tasks as required by the Manager of eLearning Development

 

 

Job Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Multimedia Design, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience or training
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and Animate. Expertise in Premiere, After Effects, and Dreamweaver preferred.
  • Expertise in HTML 5, CSS, and JQuery and Javascript. Expertise in Bootstrap and responsive page layout preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Flash and Actionscript 3 preferred.
  • Experience with eLearning development including SCORM 1.2 and 2004 revision 3 preferred.
  • Experience with LMS administration including SumTotal Enterprise Learning preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
