Job description

Job Duties: Plan and deploy ONE SAFRAN integration in Sarasota operations. Lead ONE SAFRAN audit initiatives. Promote company's customized Lean manufacturing processes and company-specific continuous improvement strategies through education, training and execution of continuous improvement projects and events. Serve as the primary liaison between the Safran divisional CI group, plant leadership team and the shop floor in ensuring the implementation of improvement changes. Responsible for building organizational capability; for improving key performance indicators; and for maintaining continuous improvement metrics for each assigned Value Stream supporting key deliverables in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, cost and people. Ensure implementation of continuous improvement projects, including kaizen events, A3 problem solving, Job Safety Analyses, Failure Modes Effect Analyses, and 8 D Problem Solving. Monitor the integration of the Safran 5S program at Safran Electrical and Power's facility in Sarasota, Florida. Identify future continuous improvement opportunities and maintain the continuous improvement schedule in keeping with the company's goals and culture; and train the workforce on internally developed applications of Lean Sigma tools and methods of continuous improvement to achieve goals and objectives.

Job requirements

* -The position requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronic, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
* -Eight years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
* -All stated experience must include: VSM, DOE, Accelerated improvement workshops, and root cause and corrective actions through 8D methodology.
* -Must be Green Belt certified.
