Job Summary: This position reports directly to the Manager - Cabin Maintenance. This position is responsible coordinating activity related to one of the following subjects: Communication, Training, Material, Mtc Programs, Process & Procedures, and Business Performance. The coordinator works closely with Cabin Maintenance management and technical personnel to compile detailed financial and operational data. In addition, the Coordinator works closely with other TechOps departments to ensure data and intelligence is driven into the business unit. Some activities include, but are not limited to: provide data in support of a monthly reporting process that includes the production of a detailed financial package containing performance measurement and variance analysis. Provide Supplier Operations Management with daily status reports along with explanations on current cabin initiatives. Assist Material Services in the procurement of parts required to repair cabin items. Track Cabin Maintenance Items (CMI) for length of time and facilitate removal of all CMIs >60days. Identify relevant trends and communicate corrective actions to Cabin Maintenance personnel. Assist Cabin Maintenance Department with all cabin related requests. Provide technical expertise on an as-needed basis. Interface with all areas of Technical Operations and throughout Delta to ensure event schedule and work scope meets or exceeds Delta's contractual agreements. Develop ad-hoc excel macros, deploy training to outstations. Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
Job Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of technical or financial experience, preferably in an airline environment. Must possess excellent computer (Microsoft Office, IPC, AMM, CMM, SAP), analytical, and organizational skills. Should have a thorough understanding of Delta's policies and procedures, TOPP compliance standards, operations, maintenance and reliability programs. Must be highly motivated and have ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a self-starter. Airframe & Powerplant License or degree in quantitative field such as Engineering, Business, math, etc preferred, but not required. Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.
