Description
  • Support Catering Planning & Loading Specialist in updating, reviewing and publishing of catering galley diagrams for all aircraft, routes & meal services
  • Detailed analysis and proofing of documents for the purpose of identifying & communicating discrepancies
  • In-depth review of menu specifications, illustrated documents & service procedures to assess equipment needs
  • Assist with maintaining an Access database to support galley planning; includes data entry, database design & maintenance
  • Proofreading of final documents before publication
  • Support management of diagram and information posting on web portal
  • Provide administrative support for Catering Operations through weekly reports and the maintenance of multiple reference documents
  • Distribute weekly booking projections to all kitchen vendors for meal planning purposes
  • Track the issuance of Alert Notifications & kitchen responses
  • Administrative & general office duties as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • One year of administrative work experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word & Access database
  • Expertise with Excel formulas/functions and Access database building skills desired
  • Strong analytical skills & attention to detail
  • Strong organizational & communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage tight deadlines
  • Able to work independently with detailed documents
  • Initiative & ability to carry a project beyond the basic instructions; seek clarification where needed & move projects forward

Preferred Requirements

  • College degree or comparable experience preferred
  • Experience in the airline catering industry preferred
  • Access database skills preferred
