In your role, you will:

- Develop and standardize operational tools, policies and processes related to Industrial Security for Bombardier’s global operations.
- Manage the delivery and roll-out of several operational and transformation projects simultaneously.
- Provide daily alignment to a multi-disciplinary team to achieve security program objectives.
- Assist the management team in monitoring the training and skill levels of users of Industrial Security’s various systems.
- Oversee Industrial Security Governance Programs.
- Manage the process for applying for security clearances through Public Services and Procurement Canada’s Contract Security Program.
- Coordinate employee security evaluations in compliance with Canada’s Controlled Goods Program.
- Manage the employee background check process.
- Supervise the global security incident management platform and perform analysis.
- Administer the global access control system and carry out programming changes.
- Oversee and maintain the travellers’ security program.
- Coordinate, prepare and analyze investigation reports.
- Organize special events as needed and prepare all necessary material.
- Manage performance meetings with suppliers.
- Coordinate and draft communication and awareness plans.
- Oversee the team’s training activities and manage the applicable documents.
- Support internal and external compliance audits.
- Forge and maintain business relationships with internal and external partners.
- Support team members as needed.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You hold a college or university degree and relevant experience in the field of security, bachelor’s degree in security and police studies, an asset.
- You hold Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a corporate security department.
- You have extensive technical knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and other computer systems.
- You have thorough knowledge of security-related computer systems.
- You have strong analytical, problem-solving and planning skills.
- You have thorough knowledge of local and international security processes and standards.
- You have solid organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to efficiently manage priorities.
- You have an excellent command of English and French, spoken and written.
- You have the ability to be discreet and ensure confidentiality.
- You have a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently.
- You have flexibility with regard to your availability.
- You have leadership skills and the ability to unify a team.
- You have team spirit, leadership acumen and sense of innovation needed to be effective.
- You have solid negotiation and project management skills.
