  • Provides support for North America & International material management and special maintenance projects
  • Review, plan, and coordinate the procurement and positioning of aircraft parts for heavy check maintenance events
  • Ensure vendor support at the heavy maintenance and ensure timely staging (pre-pull/pre-draw) of parts for the support of heavy check aircraft maintenance and other significant special projects
  • Coordinate training and SOP review for heavy maintenance vendors for materials support requirements
  • Perform audits of North America and International stations to confirm physical inventory accuracy and company SOX compliance requirements. Provide training and guidance as needed
  • Perform station audits of material processes to ensure compliance to inventory procedures to include, but not limited to, shipping, quarantine, storage, issuing, receiving and handling of parts per the General Maintenance Manual
Requirements

Basic Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • Minimum of five years of experience in Logistics, Warehousing and/or Material Support functions
  • Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn new programs as required to perform assigned duties
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deal with internal and external customers
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to meet project driven deadlines.
  • Strong working knowledge of parts handling and understanding of maintenance operations
  • Self-directing, proactive, and flexible to meet the demands of constantly changing priorities
  • Travel required 30% of the time

Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of TRAX system
  • Associate’s degree
