This position will be involved with the decision making process through various types of financial analyses.  The analyses will be used to make recommendations to the Treasurer and CFO regarding the capital structure of the company, corporate insurance, corporate investments, fleet management and fuel hedging strategies. The position will also participate in managing the relationships with banks, lessors, insurance brokers/underwriters, fuel suppliers and fuel hedging counterparties. The analyses and relationships will have high visibility by senior management and will have a large impact upon the organization. 

  • Build/develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc financial analyses (models and reports) as needed.
  • Participate in managing the relationships with banks, lessors, insurance brokers/underwriters, fuel suppliers and fuel hedging counterparties.
  • Monitor and analyze the capital structure of the company and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Monitor and analyze the corporate investment portfolio, including counterparties and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Monitor and analyze the fuel markets, develop fuel hedging strategies and provide daily updates.
  • Monitor and analyze fuel supply invoicing and payment, and provide analysis for annual fuel supply bidding.
  • Manage the financial covenant and financial reporting requirements with banks, lessors and fuel hedging counterparties.
  • Manage the payments to banks and lessors related to aircraft.
  • Interact with internal colleagues and insurance brokers/underwriters regarding claims, etc.
  • Champion company’s low cost philosophy within the organization.
  • Perform ad-hoc projects as determined by senior management.
Requirements

Corporate Finance Analyst I

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; prefer degree in finance, accounting, or other quantitative field.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience preferred, or 2+ years of a combination of graduate work and relevant work experience
  • Experience in financial accounting, management accounting, financial analysis, financial modeling, planning, forecasting and/or management reporting preferred.

Corporate Finance Analyst II

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; prefer degree in finance, accounting, or other quantitative field.
  • Graduate degree in quantitative discipline preferred 
  • 2+ years of relevant experience or 3+ years of a combination of graduate work and relevant work experience
  • Verifiable experience in financial accounting, management accounting, financial analysis, financial modeling, planning, forecasting and/or management reporting

Corporate Senior Finance Analyst

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; prefer degree in finance, accounting, or other quantitative field
  • Graduate degree in quantitative discipline preferred
  • 4+ years of relevant experience or 4+ years of a combination of graduate work and relevant work experience
  • Substantial experience in financial accounting, management accounting, financial analysis, financial modeling, planning, forecasting and/or management reporting
