Job Description This position is within the Service Engineering team for the C-32/C-40 program. The successful candidate will work as a service engineer to provide the Air Force customer with in-service engineering support including review of 737/757 aircraft and component service literature for C-32/C-40 Commercial Derivative Aircraft. The successful candidate will also provide configuration management and assist with service literature scheduling for C-32/C-40 aircraft upon receipt of Air Force disposition. The successful candidate will be required to lead projects to resolve complex program issues including leading research and development of engineering updates of very complex, highly visible technical in-service issues Such as determining safety implications, preparing analyses, and recommendations/presentations on safety processes;Resolve customer issues requiring interface with organizations outside of customer support organizations; Review work in progress to ensure that specifications, design requirements, criteria, and performance to plan are achieved; Lead significant projects on issues affecting project schedule, cost, and performance; Lead communications and presentation material for dissemination to customers. The successful candidate will participate on teams to resolve a wide range of complex technical and operational problems associated with support, analysis, modification and repair.

Qualifications Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Working level experience with the MATRIX Service Literature module is highly desired. Experience with Air Force engine management practices is a plus.
Some travel may be required. No relocation assistance is available.
