This is a position to support the T&PS Cyber Security team in a deputy team lead role. In this role this individual will have the following responsibilities:

Creating and maintaining complex process flow charts specific to Cyber Security to enable cross team collaboration and system security to ensure cradle to grave cyber assurance is met.

Supporting the team lead with problem solving to overcome obstacles to cyber security assessment and accreditation.

Supporting the team with estimate creation, metric collection and efficiency modeling to understand performance and seek cheaper costs of cyber security assessments and accreditation.

Perform the role of Product Owner for the team using the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework enterprise).

Perform other various deputy lead tasks as needed to support the team lead.

The successful candidates will be required to have considerable experience in leading requirement development and complex system integration and planning. The successful candidates will also have experience with metric collection and processing or estimate creation.

It is desired, but not required, that the successful candidate have experience performing the activities of cyber security and/or complex IT programs and/or secure system design.

This position involves frequent interaction with team members, military end users, suppliers and other teams on the same contracts.

Qualifications

Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Preferred: Information Technology Management, Systems Engineering, CyberSecurity or IT related field.

This position requires to have considerable experience in leading requirement development and complex system integration and planning. The successful candidates will also have experience with metric collection and system level process improvement and estimate creation.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
