Provide day-to-day project management and technical leadership in developing, managing, and supporting data and analytics production systems.
Ensure availability and business continuity of all production systems supported by Data Management and Analytics (DMA) team, meeting all agreed upon SLAs.
Act as a Single-Point-of-Contact (SOP) for all production related issues, including incident management, defects triage, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and resolution.
Work with development team in resolving defects that require L2 and L3 support.
Proactively perform data quality checks to ensure data integrity in production systems.
Work with Data Governance and Data Quality team in resolving data integrity and quality issues.
Work with IT and Business stakeholders in defining scope and schedule of enhancements releases.
Collaborate with Technology Delivery team’s track leads in reviewing, prioritizing, and implementing new system features and functionality.
Own and maintaining detail documentation on requirements, project tasks, and resource and communication plans.
Proactively and regularly provide project updates to IT management and business stakeholders, providing visibility into project statuses.
Manage multiple projects with high level of agility, managing conflicting priorities and personalities, ensuring successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Design, implement, and maintain industry standard operational procedures and processes based on best practices.
Establish necessary operational metrics and measures to deliver highest customer satisfaction and support.
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans through continuous improvements and innovation.
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, relevant certifications, and professional training programs.
Demonstrated leadership skills in managing diverse and globally distributed teams, supporting data, database, analytics, and BI systems.
Strong IT operations and project management skills.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills,
Over ten years of professional experience, with at least six years experience in working with IT support organizations.
Understanding of database development and management principles.
Working knowledge of data warehousing and analytics systems development and support.
Experience with general SDLC methodologies
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
5+ years of experience managing Enterprise IT services or applications
Experience with Agile
3+ years of experience managing DW/BI/Analytics systems.
3+ years of experience managing on and offshore development teams.
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
