KBRwyle has an immediate fill position for a Deputy Program Manager to work multiple contracts from their Colorado Springs, CO office. The successful candidate will interface daily with personnel from all levels of the company. Day-to-day duties include monitoring all contracts/Task Orders on which KBRwyle has a leadership role to ensure deliverables are met on time, every time. A review of reports from Task Leads to identify possible risks associated with the contracts/tasks and begin mitigation processes to reduce and/or eliminate risks prior to escalation. Take an active role in capture and successful pursuit of new Task Orders and contracts. Act as liaison between all personnel on task and KBRwyle leadership. As Deputy Program Manager, support efforts, roles and initiatives of company leadership in their capacity of Operations Unit Director, Program Manager across multiple contracts, site lead and in business development and growth efforts. The Deputy Program Manager will spearhead most requests from across Wyle on contract data call support and ensure all suspense dates are met. The successful candidate must show ability to multi-task across multiple, simultaneous and complex contract, program, and business development events.
A Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years related experience in DOD and government contracting. Must be highly proficient with MS Office Suite of programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Understand Government contracting capture from a Defense contracting perspective from concept through proposal submission. Understanding of various types of government contracts, especially ID/IQ type of contract. Familiar with Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable and Tradeoff evaluation methods. Experience successfully supporting and leading a diverse group of people, many with senior level military background. Experience briefing personnel at all levels of leadership. Experience supporting proposal efforts, to include responding to requirements as the principal author, as proposal manager, developing the proposal, and reviewing a proposal at all levels of completion. Understanding of the various levels of proposal completion and color teams to include ability to lead/facilitate multiple, simultaneous color review efforts. Basic understanding of hiring practices and laws related to recruiting and HR. Understanding of Monthly Status /Performance Cost Reports. A Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain Top Secret.
Understanding of military ranks and protocols gained from experience serving in a Branch of the US Armed Forces is highly desired. Experience in Program Management is highly desired.
