Cathay Pacific Airways is looking for a passionate and experienced manager to lead their digital sales & marketing team, overseeing all digital strategies (email, SEM, digital marketing, ecommerce and social media) for the airline in the US.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

E-Commerce

  • Grow online sales in accordance with target and Head-Office strategy
  • Oversee revenue performance for B2C and B2B markets
  • To identify trends in traffic & sales through data analysis (flown revenue, ticketed revenue, forward bookings) for optimization 
  • Report on new trends & technological developments in the marketplace
  • Work closely with Brand & Loyalty Marketing departments to drive traffic to the website through Advertising & Loyalty actions
  • Act as the main point of contact for queries on marketing & online actions for our global call centre team, ensuring fluid and consistent communication
  •  Participate in the launch of new functionalities and provide feedback to global eCommerce team in Hong Kong
  • Manage partnerships with Online Travel Agencies and Metasearch channels in the US

 

Digital Marketing

  • Develop and execute CX.com digital marketing initiatives such as:
  • Advertising campaigns  – online tactical/brand banner ads, SEM, mobile ads, sweepstakes/mini-sites
  • Direct Marketing - Email marketing, webinar series, affiliate advertising, database marketing
  • Social Media Initiatives (updates, campaigns, contests, etc) via Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, Tumblr, Snapchat & Persicope etc.
  • Content Updates (CMA) for CX.com in USA and Latin America
  • Oversee sales and marketing plan for Corporate Travel Solutions Program (SME Website) through appropriate strategies  in accordance with the yearly action plan
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders including advertising agency, global marketing and ecommerce teams, and global call centre team
  • Manage  and analyze traffic/engagement/email sign-ups across online marketing channels

 

Social Media

  • Fully responsible for the management of local Cathay Pacific USA social media channels on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram, Tumblr, Snapchat & Persicope etc
  • Responsible to grow database, traffic and awareness on all owned social media channels
  • Work with ad agency and internal teams on earned, owned and paid media strategy
  • Proactively communicate any disruptions in program and manage all customer service communications
  • Collaborate with PR team to align uniform influencer and content strategies
  • Analyze trends in the social media space and share with direct report and head office as needed

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelors’ degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership
  • Minimum 5 years consumer marketing experience preferred. Solid knowledge of the travel industry preferred but not required
  • Strong experience and knowledge in e-Commerce
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to produce results and meet/ exceed business goals.
  • Superior problem-solving, time management and organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good computer knowledge
