General responsibilities of the position: From working instructions, perform visual and dimensional checks of parts. Identify faults and sort parts that do not comply with the specifications. Keep the appropriate logbooks up to date with the various parameters in order to establish efficient operations using statistical process control. Use the IT systems required for the role (SAP, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Collaborate with the production department to correct quality problems. Participate in quality improvement clinics.

Regulate, adjust and use precision measuring instruments for dimensional inspections. Use the basic functions and pre-defined programming on equipment such as the CMM and other specialist equipment.

Perform tasks, such as simple deburring, polishing, test cell for injector, cleanliness test, pressure or flow test, while ensuring that standards and specifications are met and ordering the material necessary to ensure a continuous flow of materials. May be required to perform other tasks such as cleaning, marking, protecting and packaging parts.

Qualifications required: •Hold a vocational diploma (DEP) in machining techniques or;
•Hold a diploma in Mechanical engineering or in aircraft construction
• IT knowledge: MS Outlook and SAP are an advantage
• Metrology experience (two to five years)
• Very good ability to read drawings
• Fluent in French (written and verbal) - knowledge of English considered an asset
• High level of autonomy and resourcefulness
• Interpersonal skills: team player and positive attitude
• Flair for problem solving and an analytical mind
• Experience in an industrial environment

Field of studies: Aeronautics
