JOB DESCRIPTION
The Director, Digital Marketing Acquisition is responsible for establishing the overall acquisition marketing strategy and budget allocation against paid media, considering campaign cadence, customer segments, competitive activity in the market and business needs. Applies knowledge of best in class digital acquisition marketing practices to planning process to ensure lead generation and ROI return.

30%: Digital Media Budget Allocation: Accountable for digital marketing budget to optimize spend across digital channels, including display media, SEM and direct marketing. Will include oversight of our media agency and close collaboration with the creative team on production needs.

30%: Accountable for the segmentation and targeting plan aligned to customer behaviors and needs, including the following components: (1) Communication and Media Planning -- develop acquisition plan against each status within SFDC and defined prospect segments that are designated as marketing targets, establishing automation paths at the individual customer level. (2) Planning and development of the segmentation structure within SFDC and other media tools, ensuring the appropriate variables are identified and included for targeting, establishing and applying the SalesForce Marketing Cloud and/or other tools for automation (in direct collaboration with media agency).

15%: Aligns digital acquisition strategy to creative campaign concepts and overarching campaign calendar, this will include assisting in guiding creative direction of each campaign and content development. Collaborates with other marketing channel functions on integrated campaign strategy.

15%: Reviews performance metrics of communication/segmentation plans and adjusts strategy accordingly. Includes direction and collaboration with agency partners.

10%: Collaborates with International partners for brand consistency and shared efficiencies across global marketing presence.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree 
Course of Study/Major: Marketing, Advertising, Finance, Business
Type of Credentials/Licenses: BA/BS
Related Work Experience: 8-10 years

-Digital marketing knowledge, skills and experience with $1B plus consumer brands
-Excellent communicator with strong editing skills
-Extensive experience working with media tools, CRM systems and managing complex databases
-Proven experience applying segmentation strategy to marketing communications targeting and planning
-Extensive experience in digital marketing environments, including thorough understanding of development process and creation of assets to be distributed through digital marketing channels
-Significant demonstrated leadership capability
-Experience managing a team across a broad range of marketing functions 
-Strong analytical skills 
-Significant experience working with a large outside Sales organization 
-Possesses good judgment, strong collaborative skills, and the ability to navigate and influence across different functions in an organization 
-Experience marketing a service related product to high net worth individuals is desired
