Description
 

The Director of Digital Product Management is to build out our customer engagement portal for parts, programs and services as well as help to productize existing assets along our aviation supply chain offering and repairs management. This role sets the vision and direction of our industry leading solutions, establish product roadmaps and day-to-day priorities as s/he will oversee work with architects, developers, testers, and business leaders to build innovative solutions.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

 

-Become the ultimate product owner for all customer facing activities spanning eCommerce, supply chain, programs and repair portal.

-Drive competitive insights and define areas of differentiation using technology

-Own the product vision and future product roadmap for AAR Digital services

-Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand the primary use-cases. Document requirements, features and functions.

-Partner with engineering / development teams to design, build, and maintain a robust platform and required interfaces for real time data and transaction processing.

-Actively lead early adopter / pilot projects to validate all aspects of product and service offering. Support go-to-market activities and customer adoption.

Qualifications
 

The ideal candidate will have expertise working in an B2B ecommerce environment and / or with procurement and supply chain solutions. The right candidate will have can do attitude breaking down barriers to generate a high impact user experience and drive required content. Experience and passion for aviation is definite plus.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 

-5-10 years of relevant product management experience in a technology company

-Bachelors degree, MBA preferred

-Enough technical proficiency to successfully partner with and lead engineering in the build out of our solutions

-Proven program management skills. A consensus-builder and is capable of utilizing his/her strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills to successfully interact with partners and colleagues.

-Energetic, doer with strong communication, writing, and quantitative skills

-Demonstrated ability to influence people and get results through others

-Strong customer orientation and problem solving skills
