Essential Functions:

  •  Manage a team with three direct reports and over 10 employees.
  • Oversight of the Microsoft AX environment, including monitoring system performance, providing end user support, developing and implementing the enterprise-wide financial system and strategy, maintaining the chart of accounts, supporting all interfaces to and from AX, maintaining controls within the system, and managing the vendor relationship with Microsoft AX and providing recommendations on upgrades and new features and functionality.
  • Oversight of the Revenue Accounting and Accounts Payable teams, including responsibility for all related data and controls, the month end close and reporting process, budgeting and forecasting, dashboards, the software/technology utilized by the teams, and executive reporting.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or related field;  Combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree requirement
  • Significant financial systems experience in a large company environment
  • Accounting and direct accounting systems experience
  • Problem solving and analysis experience
  • SQL experience preferred
  • 5 to 7 years of leadership experience
  • Previous project management experience including financial system implementation preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Microsoft Dynamics certification preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with focus on Excel
  • Ability to work well with other team members
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Possess good mathematical aptitude
  • Able to work under pressure & meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with strict confidentiality
