Seal Dynamics is seeking to fill a Director, Government & Military Sales position within our Government & Military Sales Team with a resourceful, analytical and proactive team player. This position Reports to our SVP, Sales, Marketing & New Business Development.

Position Overview:Ensure our organization is aligned and able to deliver results based on the needs of our strategic partners (SPs) utilizing the capabilities of the SD business model. This position requires experience in developing relationships with government and military entities to identify aftermarket opportunities (retrofits, upgrades, alternative sourcing) for in service platforms or programs.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

1. Structure and support the sales team to effectively conduct the daily transactions and overall performance required to meet the aftermarket demands

2. Establish and enhance relationships with our SPs to align expectations for the annual sales budget both in terms of standard bidding and new business opportunities in the aftermarket

3. Develop relationships with the leaders of military bases – particularly those involved with fleet/product decisions that impact our SPs and provide insight into fleet planning, modifications and potential new applications

4. Manage new project initiatives internally with our SAR/PMA teams and with our SPs

5. Coordinate cross functional activities with other department managers (product management, quality, procurement, etc…)

6. Develop reporting tools to provide relevant insight into the business for internal and external purposes

7. Continue to refine the value proposition to identify and promote SD to potential manufacturers

8. Participate and manage attendance and representation at trade shows

9. Prepare and participate in SP quarterly business reviews

10. Maximize pricing decisions balanced with winning the award taking into account history, competition, quantities breaks, etc..

11. Directly promote other product opportunities to OEM accounts where required

Job Requirements :

1. Proven success record in government and military aftermarket sales

2. Solid understanding of the government and military procurement process

3. Experience in managing distribution partner relationships

4. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively present and report on activities with our SPs

6. Positive and motivated leadership style

7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

8. Strong organization skills

9. Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize appropriately

10. Basic Excel experience

11. Ability to understand and operate in standard ERP system

12. College degree

13. Five-year minimum aviation back ground

14. Ability to travel up to 50%

15. SAR, RPPOB and PMA experience preferred
